Lodge Life Services have been involved with the development of Park Avenue Apartments from the inception of the project, taking the idea of turning this blighted building in Lancaster City into a useful building to Community Basics, Inc, a local nonprofit developer who has worked with the Lodge on previous projects.
Community Basics, Inc. developed the building and opened the project for residents in late fall of 2010. Lodge Life Services operates the supportive services program on-site for the residents. The various types of services offered are as follows:
- Budgeting counseling
- Money Management classes
- Personal Safety
- Tenant Rights and Responsibilities
- Community Resource referrals and training
Other supportive services are available on site for residents who request the individualized service.
